Interfacial Dynamics Corporation was formed eighteen years
ago in Portland, Oregon. It is at a beautiful location and we are always happy for customers to visit and to discuss how
we may customize a product to better meet your particular needs. Just e-mail us if you wish to arrange this.
Interfacial Dynamics brought SurfactantFree latex to the market place and we take pride in producing high quality
material in a reproducible manner. Our knowledge and control of the reaction parameters enables us to achieve a high
level of batch to batch reproducibility. After production is complete, the latex is only handled in our clean room
so that chances of microbiological contamination are minimized. Storage in our cold room also helps to maximize the
quality.
Characterization of the particles commences
with examination with our transmission electron
microscope. This is used to give particle size
and the size distribution. The next step is to
characterize the chemical groups that are
covalently bound to the surfaces of the particles.
This gives the particle charge and the number of
groups that are available for chemically coupling
other materials to the surfaces. Finally, we check
to show that microbiological contamination is absent.
